Tiem

The calendar that knows why.

School runs, nap windows, a caregiver's hours, two parents' sanity. Tiem holds the reasons behind your week — and pushes back before a change quietly breaks one.

Live render — this is the actual product drawing a fictional demo family, not a mockup.

You already have a calendar.

It shows you what: 8:10 drop-off, 5:45 dinner, a wall of colored blocks. It knows nothing about why — so every change is a small gamble.

  • Someone nudges a pickup twenty minutes, and suddenly the nap is happening in a car seat. Again.
  • The driving split drifts until one of you is doing six runs a week — and nobody decided that.
  • Your only free window disappears into errands because it was never written down anywhere.

Calendars show what. Tiem knows why.

Same afternoon, two calendars. One is a block of color. The other can defend itself — everything on the right is the real engine, running.

What — any calendar

  • 08:10 school drop-off
  • 11:00–14:30 nap
  • 17:45 dinner

Move anything anywhere. Good luck.

Why — Tiem

11:00–14:30 Wren nap

Protected by

Wren's nap is never interrupted

Wren naps in her own crib all five days. No car transfers, no cut-short naps.

The nap knows why it's there — and every future edit is checked against it.

Try to break a why. It pushes back.

Hand one parent an extra school run and Tiem answers with the rule your family set — calmly, and with the numbers.

What if Friday's pickup moved to Jon?

  • Duty split is uneven: Jon has 5 runs, Mara has 3 ("driving splits evenly between the parents")

Knowing why finds the free time.

Because Tiem understands the week's structure, it can see the gaps — and puts your breathing room on the calendar like it matters.

  • Mara free 11:00–13:30
  • Ruth free 13:30–14:30

How it works

01

Protects

Your schedule is a living set of agreements — a protected nap, an even driving split, a caregiver's hour cap. An edit that would break one is caught before it saves, not discovered at bedtime.

02

Explains

Every event can say why it's there. Expand it and read the rule protecting it — and the reasoning behind the rule — straight off the schedule.

03

Rehearses

Try any change safely in a what-if draft: see exactly which events move, what breaks, and what you gain — then apply it or throw it away.

Works everywhere. Installs like an app.

Tiem is a website first — open it in any browser, on any device, right now. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like a real app: its own icon, its own window, no address bar. No app store between you and your week, on either side.

→

Browser-based, cross-platform

One codebase, every device: phone, tablet, laptop, whatever a given parent or caregiver happens to be holding. If it has a browser, it has Tiem.

→

Installs like an app

Add it to your home screen and it opens standalone — its own icon, no browser chrome — and keeps working from the last screen you were on, even with a spotty connection.

→

No app store in between

Nothing to submit for review, nothing you have to remember to update, nothing gatekeeping who gets to install it. It's just the web, doing what it was always supposed to do.

A lighter kind of AI.

Most AI features bolt a chatbot onto a pile of events and hope. Tiem's assistant sits on a schedule that already knows the rules, the reasons, and the ripple effects — so the engine does the thinking, and the AI just does the talking.

  • Answers from the graph, not guesswork. "Why is the nap there?" is a lookup, not a hallucination.
  • Changes go through the same what-if gate you use. The assistant can propose and preview — applying is always a human's tap.
  • Unlimited Basic AI, honestly tiered. The graph lookups above are Basic AI — on-device, deterministic, and free, so they're unlimited on every plan. Frontier AI (week optimization, reading a document, planning several moves ahead) calls a real model and is metered — and bring-your-own AI is a setting for that tier, not a rewrite.

Can Jon take Friday's pickup?

Not without breaking a rule you set: Duty split is uneven: Jon has 5 runs, Mara has 3 ("driving splits evenly between the parents") Want me to stage it as a what-if so you can see it anyway?

Why is Wren's nap 11:00–14:30?

It's protected: Wren naps in her own crib all five days. No car transfers, no cut-short naps.

Scripted demo — but every fact in it is real engine output, the same answers the shipped assistant reads from.

Unlimited Basic AI

Basic AI answers straight from your household's own context graph — why an event exists, what today looks like, whether a change would break a rule. It's on-device, deterministic intelligence: no hosted model call, so it costs nothing and never leaves your data. That's why it's unlimited on every plan, including the free plan.

Frontier AI, metered

Week optimization, reading a shared document, planning several moves ahead — these call a frontier language model, which costs real tokens. That deeper tier is metered on the paid plan, and it's the one bring-your-own-AI replaces if you'd rather run it on your own key and billing.

Bring your own AI

Connect your own AI provider and API key and the frontier tier runs on your own billing instead of ours — no meter from us either way. Basic AI is unmetered and unchanged regardless: it never calls a hosted model in the first place.

Pricing FAQ

What's the difference between Basic AI and Frontier AI?
Basic AI is on-device, deterministic reasoning over your household's own context graph — it answers why an event exists, checks the week, and stages what-ifs, and it's unlimited because it costs nothing to run and never leaves your data. Frontier AI covers deeper features — week optimization, reading a document, multi-step planning — which call a real frontier language model and cost real tokens, so that tier is metered.
Is there a free plan?
Not yet — a Free Plan is coming soon. Right now Tiem is $5/month or $40/year, and that includes Unlimited Basic AI from day one.
Who owns my household's data, and can I export it?
You do. Your schedule, people, and history are yours to export at any time, and nothing is shared with or sold to anyone else.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime — there's no lock-in and no cancellation fee. You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
Do I need to install an app?
No install required — Tiem runs in any browser, on any device. If you'd like an app-like experience, add it to your home screen and it opens standalone with its own icon, no app store involved either way.
